12th EUROPEAN SYMPOSIUM ON ELECTROCHEMICAL ENGINEERING
All around us we can see the rapid electrification of our society, changing how we recover valuable resources in a more sustainable way, make chemical products, store energy, provide energy to our houses, and go from place to place. Increasingly we move from molecular building blocks and processes towards a world where the electron is the carrier of energy and information, and is the key building block to create new materials.
It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 12th European Symposium on Electrochemical Engineering (ESEE 2020). This international scientific conference will be held on June 14-18, 2020, in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. The scope of ESEE 2020 is “Electrochemistry for electrification and energy transition toward a sustainable future”, which captures our aim to showcase scientific advances in physical, chemical and biochemical routes towards a future where electrochemical engineering is part of a sustainable society, closing resource cycles and contributing to zero-pollution mobility and manufacturing.
Read moreThe 12th European Symposium on Electrochemical Engineering is a vibrant international scientific conference, where we discuss electrochemical engineering from the scale of molecules to complete systems. It is a meeting place for all attendants to present and discuss new scientific and commercial ideas, motivated by scientific curiosity and excellence, and thereby inspire our community to move forward in exciting and relevant ways.
The ESEE 2020 is a place to share both experimental as well as theoretical findings in the field of electrochemical engineering. Out of the many relevant topics that are within the scope of this international scientific conference, important examples are the search for sustainable, safe, and affordable methods for water treatment (desalination and micropollutant removal), as well as energy storage at high efficiency and low costs.
We are looking forward to seeing you at ESEE 2020 in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands.
